Audio monitoring may be disabled (muted) by clicking the Audio Button located along
the bottom of the BUS-WATCH® Live View application interface. Once the button is
depressed, the audio text changes to orange.
Click the Audio icon to press or depress the button. The audio will be heard (un-muted)
when the button is in the up position, and will be muted when in the down position and
the text is orange.
No audio level control is provided in the BUS-WATCH® Live View application. Audio
playback level may be adjusted using the PC volume control or mixer, or the PC speaker
volume control. Please consult your PC manual for information on adjusting the volume
level of your PC.
Video and Image Capture
The BUS-WATCH® Live View application includes functions to capture (record) live
video or still images from the live video appearing in visible, active video windows.
Video Capture
The BUS-WATCH® Live View application video capture function can capture, or record
live video appearing in an active video window. The captured video is saved to a file on
the host PC.
The video capture function records video to a standard local directory. Video files
captured to the local directory are sorted into subdirectories based on DVR name, date of
capture, DVR channel (camera) name, and DVR alarm status (Normal or Alarm). The
directory structure is created automatically for a given source when capture is initiated.
The standard directory is located on C:/BUS-WATCH Video/Captured. All files created
during video capture using the video capture function will be written to this directory. To
ensure that these video files written to this location, the box C:/BUS-WATCH
Video/Captured needs to be checked within the Record Captures Drives Box in the
System Tab (please reference page Error! Bookmark not defined.).
To capture video from video appearing in an active video window, select the video
window, and click the Record Button located at the bottom of the application interface.
The button will change to the pressed state (down state) and video recording will
commence. All video appearing in the selected video window will be captured to a file in
